Vacation Time!

on:It finally officially feels like summer! ..and I start summer school next week. I’m back from my trip to Niagara Falls. It’s kind of sad that the most fun we had was spent losing money in the Casino. I have some cool Canadian coins though! We saw fireworks from where we were eating dinner on the 3rd and watched fireworks over the falls on the 4th. Jeremy brought the new dress and tux he had made for us in China so we wore those to dinner at the Hilton. I like the new dress a lot! It’s white and short sleeved. That’s about the extent of what we did. We didn’t buy any T-shirts or anything! On the way back to America, we passed all these fun Ripley’s Believe it or Not museums and funhouses and things we passed up. I wish we would have made better use of our time and done some of those things. We didn’t even go on the boat that takes you right up to the falls, Maid of the Mist. We did have fun once we got back to Woodward, though. East is huge! I’ve been to West and Lake Owen. Gary said East has 800 campers and 300 staff a week! Jeremy showed me around camp and I got to meet all the Woodward masterminds. I even got to do a little gymnastics. I felt more old and out of shape than I usually do when I attempt to do some tricks. I played around on the tramp a little, but the biggest trick I did on there was a back tuck. I didn’t want to get in the way of anyone else’s workout. I also did some giants on the strap bar, without wristbands! The gyms there are so nice. I miss when I was good at gymnastics, back in the day! Pennsylvania is so hilly and has so many trees! It was beautiful. The town near Woodward is so tiny! I got to meet Ron and Marcia and their 3 boys. That was fun! The boys are crazy! They like to beat up on Jeremy. We drove past Penn State on the way to the airport. I took a plane that seated about 30 people out of State College. We got tossed around like rag dolls, but I did not toss my cookies! Michigan will be my next adventure with the girls. We leave in 2 days!
