I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Aside from getting yelled at on Christmas Eve by my mom, mine was pretty good.  I think my favorite gifts are the 2 Kesha CD’s my aunt gave me (I love her!) or the PostSecret book from Dana.  My sister, dad, and I went to church on Christmas Eve.  I played Apples to Apples with my cousins at my grandma’s later that evening. I lost miserably.  Apparently no one understood my sense of humor.  For Christmas day we went to my aunt’s.  It was fun! Dinner consisted of ham, ravioli, potato salad, vegetable salad, rolls, jello, and salad.  After we opened presents and ate, we played black jack.  I lost $2.  The smallest bet we were allowed to make was a quarter so that’s what I bet  most of the time, 50 cents if I was feeling lucky.  After an hour or so of cards, I left to go see True Grit with my uncle and cousins because I agreed to the night before.  It was not my kind of movie.  The little girl in it was great, but someone got shot every 5 minutes.  I appreciate it, but didn’t like it.

I worked on Sunday, the 26th. I was surprised we only had one exchange that day.  I was expecting more.

Seeing old friends over break is so bittersweet.  It’s crazy to see how much things have and will continue to change.

“Sometimes the more things change, the more they stay the same.”
