Sun Times Interview.. and other stuff

Posted on: November 1, 2011

The interview with the Sun Times went well today! It was my 3rd one! It seems I will have a 4th when I get back from Hawaii.  On my way home, I got a call from the parking garage.  I set my binder down when I pulled out my wallet to pay and I left it there! I’ll have to take a trip to get it tomorrow.. as if I haven’t driven back and forth to the city enough lately!

Besides the interview, day 1 of unemployment was kind of uneventful.  I tried to relax in the morning, worked out, walked the dog, and got ready to go to the Sun Times office. Tomorrow’s excitement will be getting an oil change! I need to clean my room.. still. and start packing! I might head to the book store tonight too.

I heard Snuff by Slipknot on the radio yesterday and I forgot how much I like that song.  I also love It Will Rain by Bruno Mars.

Some quotes I found last week:

I just want to be the only girl you love all your life – The Band Perry

The 3 things a guy should want to change about his girl are her last name, address, and her viewpoint on men. – Kid Cudi

At the end of the day, when it comes down to it, all we really want is to be close to somebody.  So this thing, where we keep our distance and pretend not to care about each other, is usually a load of bull.  So we pick and choose who we want to remain close to, and once we’ve chosen those people, we tend to stick close by.  No matter how much we hurt them, the people that are still with you at the end of the day – those are the ones worth keeping.  And sure, sometimes close can be too close.  But sometimes that invasion of personal space, it can be exactly what you need. – Grey’s Anatomy

Waking up without you, it doesn’t feel right.  To sleep with only memories, its harder every night. – Framing Hanley
