Good Friends

Posted on: January 7, 2012

On Thursday, I went to dinner with Karla at the Lucky Monk.  I’d never been there before.  It was good!  We had a lot to catch up on and talk about.  I hadn’t seen her in a while.  We had a really nice dinner and conversation.  Kiersten and I spent last night wandering around looking for somewhere to eat after finding out that Tilli’s is closed and an Argentinean restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol! We ended up at an Italian place on Halsted near North Ave.  We split a bottle of Pinot Noir.  It was a good time too!  We also hadn’t seen each other since before Christmas so it was good to catch up in person. We also exchanged gifts.  She gave me wine glasses! I said that they are perfect since I’m now a grown up. We watched the latest Grey’s episode when we got back to her apartment.  Intense! Today is Marie’s wedding! It starts at 4 so I think I am going to take a nap, workout, get ready, and then go get a card.  I have something to do tomorrow too that I am crossing my fingers it goes well.  This weekend will be an interesting one.
