Stuart disappeared yesterday at the trade show, too.  He had me stay an extra half an hour. He wanted me to stay til 5 for some reason, but the trade show only went til 4.  Odd man.  The other girl I worked with was cool.  She lives in Hoffman Estates so I think we’re going to get together next weekend.

I just checked Post Secret.  Here’s my favorite from this week!

I couldn’t agree more.  For a long time, I thought that once you reached the age of about 20, that you were a “grown up” and you just kind of had things figured out.  I couldn’t have been more wrong.  I’m 23 and I still have no idea where I’m going to be or what I’m going to be doing or who I’m going to be with or anything.  I always thought my parents had it figured out and everyone around me and older than me just knew what to do and when and how.  Now I know that no one really has a clue and we all just go through life doing the best we can based on what is important to us.  I also learned a tough lesson that not everyone values the same thing I value and that success means something different to everyone.  To me, success is mostly built on being happy and I feel like I must find people and places and things that make me happy.  To the next person, and to someone I know, having a good job that brings in a lot of money is a big part of being successful.  The more people I meet, the more I understand how different everyone really is.  I guess I expected personal relationships and friendships to be as important to other people as they are to me.  Again, I was wrong.

When I’m at work, I think that when I put my headphones in I’m kind of invisible.  haha I know its ridiculous but since I tune things out I assume people are tuning me out when I am listening to music.  This is clearly not true.  I got a venti today.  This weekend beat me up!  Time to get to work!
