Post Secret

Posted on: February 7, 2012

This is how I feel whenever people talk about their college experiences; parties, going out, staying out too late the night before a test, forgetting about tests all together, skipping class, sororities, etc.  My college experience was not like that at all.  I studied, went to class, even enjoyed some of them, got plenty of sleep, worked out about 5 days a week, went to soccer practice, spent time in the library.  I pretty much functioned as a normal adult.  I went out, but not very often.  I had internships, jobs, and responsibilities, which I am thankful for, but I wish I would have had a little more fun.

I like this secret too.

Last night, I finished my 9th book since I started working for the Sun Times.  It was Heart of the Matter.  Its not exactly part of the Something Borrowed, Something Blue series, but uses some of the same characters.  It was decent.  It’s a quick read and pretty predictable.  I started Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult this morning.  So far the subject matter has been a little difficult.  I hope it gets better.
