Here are a few updates since my last post:

My dog, DJ, passed away. It was very sudden and unexpected. He wasn’t showing signs of slowing down or anything. I left for work and when I came home, my parents told me he was gone. Very sad!

My mom was so upset that we went to the Petsmart adoption show the following weekend. This little guy is our new pet. His name was Oshkosh, but we renamed him Cooper after Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory.  I’m considering volunteering with the organization we got him and DJ from, The Almost Home Foundation.

I got a new head shot to use for modeling. I had a ton of great options, but I chose the picture below. The photographer was very creative and I enjoyed working with him. He said he wants to do some high fashion shoots with me so hopefully I hear from him again soon.

I drove a boat. It was a very little boat, but still a boat. My parents were meeting some friends downtown for the afternoon to use the deal they bought on Living Social and I decided to join them. They made me drive most of the time.

Kit and I had our 1 year anniversary. Here are a few pics of the flowers he gave me:

I signed up for a free yoga class at Exhale and loved it! Laura and I are going back next week for a core fusion fitness class. I can’t wait!

Kit and I went back to Calamity Jane’s for breakfast last weekend.  So good! Kit’s friend, Johnny, hosts a party called Scotch & Bocce every year and I decided to participate. My teammate was the only other girl playing so it was awesome that we got paired up together! I was a newbie, but I think I caught on quickly! Bocce ball doesn’t require too much skill.  You just throw the ball and try to get it close to the ‘pea.’  We were up 13-7 at one point and lost 15-13 in the first round. I was bummed, but it was super fun, though!  We took Jessie for a sunset walk after that. It was nice. I’m trying to live in the moment and enjoy the little things and that was a good way to end a good day. These flowers are from that walk.
