Sorrento day 2

Posted on: June 5, 2014

Today was pretty relaxing. We had breakfast around 9 this morning. We ate overlooking the water and the cliffs. It is so beautiful here it’s unreal. I love it! I had yogurt with granola and fruit for breakfast with coffee and toast. The spread is a little different than in Rome, but there are still plenty of good options. We hit the private beach for 20 euros a piece after that! It was nice to spend the day relaxing. The lounge chairs had a visor to block the sun. It was interesting but I did use it! The water is so clear and blue! It’s amazing. It wasn’t too cold. I got about halfway in once and dipped my legs and feet in throughout the day to cool off. I found some sea glass on the beach which was cool. We had sandwiches from a place around the corner for lunch. We split 2 so it was cheap. We spent about 5 hours laying out. My mom and Aunty Donna got a lot of sun! We headed into downtown sorrento for dinner and shopping. I bought a lot of gifts for my friends. I love little shopping places like that. It’s so fun! The streets were crowded, but much less busy than Rome. I had pizza with ham, cheese, mushroom and tomato for dinner and I almost ate the whole thing! I enjoyed our excursion into the downtown area!
